I can only say that I have been pleased with
Boston Billows as nursing pillows for my customers. I am a Board Certified
consultants in private practice and ha e been since 1996. I have sold many of
these pillows to moms with nursing babies as well as used them in hospital
settings. These pillows have been a boon to positioning and helping overcome
initial breastfeeding difficulties. I see absolutely no safety hazard with
these pillows since they are used with mothers for infants and not ever used by
infants alone as this would be impossible.

The Boston Billow is a fine nursing pillow , the BEST in its class for
breastfeeding.
MOTHERS and fathers use many products with their infants that they wouldn't
leave their child unattended with .... and this pillow isn't even one of them!
I have used this pillow for 8 months to bottle feed my grandson and am AT A LOSS
to figure out how he could be harmed in nay way from a respiratory standpoint.
From my advantages as a BLS (Basic Life Support) since 1982 and since 1991 NRP
(Neonatal) Resuscitation Program Instructor, this is a

The Boston Billow is the best breastfeeding
support pillow I have ever used. it fits around all shapes of mothers and can
be used to correctly position the bay at breast. Correct position is very
important for a beneficial breastfeeding experience. This pillow is most
important for very small and weak infants.

breast is key to an effective latch (attachment) in the early weeks.

them. This pillow allowed women of all sizes and shapes to have some help in
supporting their babies. Because this pillow is intended for use while
breastfeeding, it is not used for children without the parents being there as

"I would like to give my unreserved endorsement of the Boston Billow nursing
pillow. This pillow is different from the Boppy in many ways. The difference
is probably best illustrated by the fact that many of the mothers who use my
office Billow during outpatient lactation consult will purchase one on their way
out, despite the fact that they already own a Boppy.
The Billow is flexible, "mushable", enabling the
mom to adjust it's thickness and firmness to best meet her needs in latching her
baby well. Since effective latch is the critical foundation for effective milk
transfer (and resulting supply for mom, gain for bay, and ultimate health of
both), this difference should not be taken lightly. The BillowPillow is by far
the best pillow we have ever used in my hospital.

was comfortable for all the mothers I worked with, no matter their shape or
size. Due to the movable filling inside the Boston Billow nursing pillow,
mothers are able to keep the babies at breast level by moving the filling
around. Many mothers find the Boston Billow comfortable for themselves to use as
a back rest or to sit on when they have a sore perineum from delivery. I work in

"We first trialed the Boston Billow Nursing
Pillow nearly 4 years ago. We loved it and more importantly, our patients loved

Mothers do NOT use this pillow to put babies to
sleep. It is used to support the baby during breastfeeding. It helps

About 30 % of mothers deliver by C-section these days and the Boston Billow allows moms to breastfeed with a light weight pillow that does not put pressure on her incision. The baby is fully supported and mom does not have to strain to hold the infant. This is the most useful pillow, in fact, for all new mothers and the Boston Billow is superior to other nursing pillows in every way and I have nothing but positive feedbacks from moms.

I am a lactation consultants - coordinator for one of the oldest outpatient centers in existence for more than 20 years. A few years ago, our patients brought to our attention the versatility and function of the Boston Billow. We have stocked it in our NICU now for several years and these are the ones preferred there also. The pillow is light, washable, and adjusts easily to all sizes of babies and all sorts of mom position.
